1. About us

These terms apply to work carried out by Adey Interiors Ltd, trading as Curtain & Blind Design, registered in England & Wales, company number 11091485, of Marsh Road, Pinner, Greater London. Contact: enquiries@curtain-blind-design.co.uk, 07961 112309.

2. Enquiries and estimates

An enquiry through this website is a request for us to contact you; it does not create a contract. Estimates are based on the measurements, fabric and hardware specification agreed at the visit. Where the specification changes, the estimate changes with it. Published prices: Not Provided.

3. Orders and bespoke goods

Work is made to your measurements and your chosen fabric, and is therefore bespoke. Production begins once you have confirmed the written specification. Because bespoke items are made to your requirements, the statutory cancellation rights that apply to off-the-shelf goods do not apply to them once making has begun. Your rights in relation to faulty or misdescribed goods are unaffected.

4. Fabric and appearance

Natural fabrics vary between batches in shade, weave and pattern repeat, and colours read differently under different light. This is a characteristic of the material, not a fault. Where you supply your own fabric, we will advise on its suitability but cannot accept responsibility for its performance, shrinkage or fastness.

5. Access, measuring and fitting

Please provide safe and clear access to the windows on the agreed date. Where measuring or fitting is prevented by building work, access or unsafe conditions, a further visit may be required. We will tell you before fitting if the fixing surface, lintel or structure is unsuitable for the hardware specified.

6. Timescales

Timescales are given in good faith and depend on fabric availability from the mill or supplier. We will keep you informed of any change. Specific lead times and guarantees: Not Provided.

7. Payment

Payment terms, deposits and accepted methods are set out in your individual estimate. Goods remain our property until paid for in full. Standard payment terms: Not Provided.

8. Care and aftercare

We will advise on cleaning and care for the fabrics and linings supplied. Damage caused by unsuitable cleaning, alteration by others or misuse of motorised components is not covered by any remedy we offer.

9. Liability

We are responsible for loss or damage caused by our failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses that were not foreseeable at the time the contract was made. 10. Website content

Text, images and layout on this website belong to us or are used with permission, and may not be reproduced without our written consent. Content is provided for information and does not form part of any contract unless repeated in your written specification.

11. Complaints and governing law

If something is not right, contact us at enquiries@curtain-blind-design.co.uk or 07961 112309 and we will put it in front of the person who made and fitted the work. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
