A studio in Pinner,
working room by room
Curtain & Blind Design is led by Katherine Adey from Marsh Road in Pinner, and has been transforming properties for over 15 years. The work is bespoke in the literal sense: fabric, heading, lining and hardware are specified for your window rather than adapted to it.
Most projects begin with a free in-home consultation. Fabrics look different against your walls and in your daylight than they do on a showroom rail, so we bring a large selection of pattern books to you and measure while we are there, then manage the full process through to installation with experienced workrooms, curtain fitters and electricians.

Made-to-measure curtains and blinds are our speciality. A free in-home consultation with a large selection of pattern books covers both contemporary and traditional designs, and we manage the full process from consultation through to installation using experienced workrooms, curtain fitters and electricians.
Commercial
Experienced in working with architects and builders on large-scale projects, sourcing and developing bespoke products for challenging commercial situations in partnership with quality manufacturers.
Automation Specialist
Many years of experience supplying motorised blinds and curtains, from a single motorised blind to a full house-wide integrated system.
Upholstery
A full upholstery service, including re-springing and foam replacement for cushions and chair seats. We can reupholster any item or create bespoke pieces from our large range of upholstery fabrics.

Which areas do you cover?
We work from Marsh Road in Pinner and cover Northwood, Rickmansworth and Chalfont locally, along with Kensington, Chelsea, Belgravia, Hampstead and Primrose Hill in central and north London.
Do you visit the house before quoting?
Yes. Fabric and measurements are both judged in the room itself, in your own daylight, rather than from a showroom or over the phone.
Can you supply and fit the poles and tracks as well?
Yes. Poles, tracks and fitting are handled alongside the curtains or blinds, so the hardware is specified for the weight and width it has to carry.
Do you work with fabric I have already chosen?
We are happy to make up in a fabric you have sourced, and will advise on lining, interlining and heading style to suit it.
